In a light-hearted parenting moment that has gone viral, a 2-year-old boy in Michigan did something most adults secretly dream of—he called 911 to order McDonald’s, and instead of scolding him, the responding officer delivered both safety advice and a Happy Meal.
Little Aiden got hold of his dad’s phone and somehow managed to dial emergency services. When the dispatcher answered, the toddler politely requested a cheeseburger and fries.
“He was very clear about what he wanted,” the dispatcher said, chuckling. “And he wanted it fast!”

Police were dispatched to the home to ensure everything was okay, and thankfully, it was. After confirming there was no emergency, Officer Graves returned shortly—with a Happy Meal in hand.

The department used the story as a teachable moment to remind parents about the importance of childproofing phones and talking to kids about when it’s appropriate to call 911.
“It was a harmless mistake, but it turned into a memorable and positive community interaction,” said Officer Graves.
And as for Aiden? He got his cheeseburger—and a gentle talk about emergencies.
